Jehhad (OPN) Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood Dhul, a prominent Pakistani businessman based in Saudi Arabia, has been re-elected as President of the Pakistan Investors Forum Jeddah with an overwhelming majority. His victory generated widespread appreciation within the Pakistani community, where sweets were distributed to celebrate the announcement.
A wave of happiness spread across the community following the re-election of Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood Dhul as President and Mahar Abdul Khaliq Lak as General Secretary of the Forum. Members of the Forum, along with various social and business personalities, congratulated Dhul on his success. On the occasion, Chaudhry Ansar Mahmood Dhul presented sweets to senior personalities including former federal minister Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain, former adviser to Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Azhar Abbas Warraich, Chairman PML-N Saudi Arabia Chaudhry Akram Gujjar, Khalid Nawaz Cheema, Ansar Mughal, Chaudhry Cheema, Engineer Sajjad Khan and others.
Community leaders said the victory of Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood Dhul reflects the trust and services he has consistently delivered. Forum members expressed hope that he would continue playing an effective role for the Forum’s development and in the interest of investors, just as he has done in the past with dedication and professionalism.
Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood has been serving as President of the Forum for the past two years. With around 180 registered Pakistani investors currently associated with the Forum, members unanimously decided to re-elect him and Mahar Abdul Khaliq Lak for another two-year term. They expressed confidence that both office-bearers would further strengthen Pakistan–Saudi trade relations and enhance the Forum’s role.
Both leaders have consistently worked to promote better relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and to encourage Saudi investors to invest in Pakistan. Pakistani community members, including Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain, Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, Chaudhry Azhar Warraich, Sardar Inayatullah, Ali Malik, Pakistani journalists and others, extended congratulations to the elected officials. The Forum’s Chairman, Shafqat Mahmood, is currently in Pakistan for medical treatment and is expected to return to Saudi Arabia by the end of the month to resume his responsibilities.
