Managing Director Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Muhammad Afzal Bhatti has stated that OPF is working as a frontline institution in line with the Prime Minister’s vision to ensure the swift resolution of issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, implementation of welfare initiatives, and protection of their rights. He said OPF would represent overseas Pakistanis without any pressure, favoritism, or political influence.
He said overseas Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the world are the bright face of Pakistan and play a vital role in the country’s image and economy. He added that anyone who undermines the trust of overseas Pakistanis would not be forgiven by the nation.
Muhammad Afzal Bhatti was speaking at a dinner hosted in his honour by Pakistan Muslim League Saudi Arabia General Secretary Malik Manzoor Hussain Awan in Jeddah. The event was attended by a large number of community members, reflecting strong engagement from overseas Pakistanis.
In his detailed address, the OPF managing director informed the community that several incentives have been announced for overseas Pakistanis, which are available to registered OPF members. He said these facilities are being further expanded to provide greater support and benefits to the diaspora.
He urged overseas Pakistanis to register themselves as OPF members, stating that they are entitled to these incentives. He also advised community members to visit OPF offices whenever they travel to Pakistan to directly engage with the institution and access its services.
