Jeddah: A high-level delegation of the Pakistan National Solidarity Forum (PNSF), Jeddah, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, at the Pakistan Consulate. The delegation briefed the Consul General on the forum’s aims, objectives, and activities being carried out for the Pakistani community in the Kingdom.
The delegation was led by newly elected PNSF Convener Sardar Waqas Inayat and comprised representatives of various political, social, and welfare organizations. Key participants included Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Gujar of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Chaudhry Azhar Warraich of the Investors Forum, Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain Chaudhry of Pakistan Peoples Party, Bashir Khan Swati of Pakistan Welfare Society, Raja Muhammad Riaz of the Rabta Committee, Sharif-ul-Zaman of Pakistan Welfare Forum, Ali Khurshid Malik of Kababish Arts Council, Sardar Ashfaq Khan of Muslim Conference, Jan Gulzar of the Pakistan Christian Community, Bashir of Pakistan Welfare Society, Sher Khattak of ANP, and Chaudhry Ehsan Elahi Gujar of the All Pakistan Gujar Association.
During the meeting, Head of Chancery Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain, Abdullah Ghuman, and other consulate staff were also present. The delegation provided a detailed overview of the establishment of the Pakistan National Solidarity Forum, its objectives, and its performance so far. Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani appreciated the forum’s role and stated that national unity is a critical need of the time, acknowledging PNSF’s efforts to bring together people from diverse backgrounds on a single platform. He assured full cooperation in addressing issues faced by overseas Pakistanis and in promoting national cohesion.
The delegation also held a separate meeting at the Consulate with former Consul General Khalid Majeed, where his services for Pakistan and the overseas Pakistani community were acknowledged. Members paid tribute to his contributions and conveyed best wishes for his future endeavors, concluding the engagements with a shared commitment to cooperation and the promotion of national unity.
