Islamabad (Asghar Hayat) NADRA has issued a strong advisory for overseas Pakistanis, particularly those residing in the United Kingdom, after detecting a fraudulent website operating under the name “Nadra Card Centre.” According to officials, the website Nadra.cardcentre.co.uk is falsely presenting itself as an authorized platform offering NADRA-related services.
Officials confirmed that the deceptive website is scamming overseas Pakistanis by claiming to process identity cards, NICOP applications, and even offering job opportunities. They emphasized that these claims are entirely baseless, as the platform has no affiliation with NADRA or its services.
The authority stated that the misuse of NADRA’s name and branding is aimed at misleading Pakistani citizens abroad. The fraudulent operators are reportedly using the platform to collect personal information, documents, and payments from unsuspecting individuals.
NADRA’s spokesperson warned that any data shared on the fake website may be exploited, putting overseas Pakistanis at financial and identity-related risk. The spokesperson urged citizens to only use official NADRA channels for all identity and documentation services.
NADRA has formally lodged a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Agency, requesting a full investigation and necessary legal action against the operators of the fake website. The authority has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding citizens’ data and ensuring the integrity of its services.
