The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dental Solutions Islamabad to provide a 40 percent discount on dental services for overseas Pakistanis, their families, and OPF employees. The agreement is part of OPF’s ongoing “Discount Program for Overseas Pakistanis & Their Families,” aimed at easing healthcare expenses for the diaspora.
Under the MoU, Dental Solutions will extend the concession to a wide range of dental procedures, including orthodontics, root canal treatments, dental surgery, teeth whitening, and general dentistry. The facility is located in the IDC Building, F-8 Markaz, Islamabad, and has assured adherence to international sterilization and infection control standards.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Mustafa Haider, Director General (Welfare & Service) on behalf of OPF, and Dr. Ejaz Khan for Dental Solutions Islamabad. OPF officials noted that the foundation has previously partnered with Metropole Laboratories and Islamabad Diagnostic Centre in the health sector, as well as Best Western Premier Islamabad in the hospitality sector, expanding its network of welfare-oriented services for overseas Pakistanis.
Speaking at the ceremony, OPF Managing Director Muhammad Afzaal Bhatti highlighted that overseas Pakistanis contribute more than 40 billion dollars annually in remittances. He emphasized that collaborations like this provide practical financial relief to families while ensuring access to quality healthcare, particularly in sectors such as dental care, which often require high out-of-pocket expenses.
Dr. Ejaz Khan assured that the facility would maintain high standards of dental care and safety protocols. The partnership reinforces OPF’s strategy to enhance access to essential services for overseas Pakistanis and their dependents, strengthening welfare support mechanisms for the diaspora community.
