Islamabad (Special Correspondent) Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI), has been honored with the Global Ambassador Award 2025 at the 7th edition of the ceremony hosted by the Diplomatic Insight Group. He received the award in recognition of his lifelong contributions toward strengthening Pakistan–UK relations, promoting human rights, and championing the Kashmiri cause on the global stage.
The overseas Kashmiri leader has been working since 1976 across political leadership, international advocacy, and diplomacy. His sustained efforts have amplified the voice of Kashmiris worldwide while helping enhance Pakistan’s image internationally. Officials noted that his dedication has played a significant role in expanding awareness about the Kashmir issue in global policymaking circles.
A high-profile gathering of ambassadors, international dignitaries, business leaders, and civil society members attended the awards ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday. The event marked the 7th edition of the Global Ambassador Awards organized by the Diplomatic Insight Group (DIG), known for recognizing excellence in international and diplomatic services.
This year’s ceremony acknowledged the exceptional contributions of foreign envoys, heads of international organizations, and influential figures from various sectors who helped strengthen Pakistan’s bilateral and multilateral partnerships. The awards highlighted efforts that promoted peace and cooperation through diplomacy.
Minister of State Huzaifa Rahman and Presidential Spokesperson and former Information Minister Murtaza Solangi participated as special guests. They presented awards to ambassadors from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Egypt, Brunei Darussalam, Finland, Rwanda, and other nations for advancing ties with Pakistan. Several notable personalities who contributed to key sectors and supported Pakistan’s relations with other countries were also honored at the event.
