ISLAMABAD (OPN) Chairman Pakistan Overseas Community Global (POCG), Mian Tariq Javed, held a special meeting with Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Lt. Gen. Muhammad Munir Afsar, in Islamabad to discuss challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis and explore measures for improved facilitation.
During the meeting, Mian Tariq Javed highlighted various issues confronted by overseas Pakistanis, including documentation delays, registration complications, and difficulties in accessing NADRA services abroad. Both sides emphasized the need for improved coordination and efficient service mechanisms to address these concerns.
Chairman NADRA briefed Mian Tariq Javed on NADRA’s ongoing initiatives and digital solutions designed to assist overseas Pakistanis. He elaborated on the authority’s efforts to expand its global service network and simplify verification and registration processes for expatriates.
To ensure better communication and timely response to the community’s needs, Chairman NADRA announced the appointment of a focal person for Pakistan Overseas Community Global. This step aims to strengthen coordination and provide dedicated support to overseas Pakistanis through POCG.
Mian Tariq Javed appreciated NADRA’s initiatives and expressed his commitment to continuing collaboration with NADRA and other relevant departments to ensure the rights and facilitation of overseas Pakistanis are effectively addressed.
