Calgary: An Eid Milan party was hosted in Calgary by the representative Kashmiri community organization Kashmir Canada Association, where members of the Kashmiri community along with political, social, and business personalities participated in large numbers. The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere with the aim of bringing the community together to celebrate Eid and strengthen mutual connections.
The Mayor of Calgary, Jeromy Farkas, attended the event as a special guest. A large number of people belonging to Azad Kashmir living in Calgary were present on the occasion. Well-known political and social figure Raja Abdul Qadeer Kham and real-estate entrepreneur and political personality Tariq Khan also attended the gathering and interacted with community members.
Speakers on the occasion said that Kashmiris living abroad continue to organize such events to preserve their culture, traditions, and unity. They appreciated the efforts of the Kashmir Canada Association, stating that the organization is playing an important role in keeping the community united and helping the younger generation stay connected with their identity. At the end of the event, the guests thanked the organizers and expressed hope that similar gatherings would continue in the future.
