On the 11th anniversary of the tragic Army Public School (APS) Peshawar attack, solemn tributes were paid across the country to the innocent children and devoted teachers who lost their lives in one of Pakistan’s darkest days. Remembering the tragedy, Chairman Board of Governors Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, Syed Qamar Raza, said the nation bows its head in solemn remembrance of the martyrs whose lives were brutally taken.
He stated that the immense sacrifice of the APS Peshawar victims strengthened the collective resolve of the nation to stand firm against terrorism and extremism in all its forms. Syed Qamar Raza emphasized that the blood of the innocent reinforced national unity and determination to protect future generations from the scourge of violence and hatred.
Expressing solidarity with the families of the martyrs, he said the entire nation stands united with the bereaved parents and relatives in their grief. He reaffirmed an unwavering commitment to peace, education, and the creation of a safer and more secure future for children, stressing that schools must remain sanctuaries of learning, not targets of terror.
Syed Qamar Raza also paid tribute to Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies and defence forces for their continued sacrifices in safeguarding the country. He extended deep appreciation and support to the brave men and women who remain vigilant against terrorism, reaffirming that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them in the ongoing fight to ensure peace and stability.
